COVID-related mortality worldwide increases by 35% over past four weeks – WHO

The number of fatalities caused by coronavirus has increased by 35% over the past four weeks and with the onset of cold weather in the Northern Hemisphere the risk of the infection spreading will only increase, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a briefing in Geneva on Wednesday.
