Minister orders removal of bottlenecks in CPEC projects

In order to address the pending issues to implement the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, Federal Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal on October 20 directed the concerned ministries to remove all the bottlenecks and expedite the projects without any further delay.

Neither are likely to push the issue and, in the meantime, the main priority of EU leaders over the coming months is likely to be how to co-ordinate national and EU plans to subsidise energy costs for businesses and households, and potentially introduce windfall taxes on energy companies.
