Steps to improve the efficiency of the grain export from Ukraine were discussed at the trilateral talks in Lvov on Thursday, the TRT TV quoted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying.

Ankara will work to restore Ukraine’s infrastructure facilities destroyed in the current conflict.

Twenty five vessels sailed from Ukrainian ports since the start of implementation of grain export agreements with Russia, Ukraine and the UN, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the press conference in Lvov after the meeting with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Turkey and the United Nations did not try to persuade Kiev to make concessions to Russia during Thursday’s talks in Lvov.

Ankara and Kiev have signed a memorandum on Turkey’s participation in the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure facilities.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres have concluded trilateral talks in the Ukrainian city of Lvov, the TRT TV channel reported.

The contract with Turkey is currently being put into practice.
