- At a time when several EU countries, like Italy, are preparing to head to the polls, the leader of the European assembly wants to “analyse the elections (that will take place) in the coming weeks and months and what that will produce”.
- Metsola also called for a “constructive pro-European centre” to be set up in the coming months.
