Ruble mixed against dollar, euro as foreign currency trading starts on Moscow Exchange

MOSCOW, September 9. /TASS/. The ruble strengthened against the dollar and weakened against the euro compared with previous closing as foreign currency trading started on Moscow Exchange on Friday.

As of 10:15 am Moscow time the dollar exchange rate was down by 0.15% at 60.63 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was up by 1.12% at 61.07 rubles.

As trading opened the dollar exchange rate lost 0.04% to 60.71 rubles, while the euro exchange gained 0.31% to 60.56 rubles.

As of 10:15 am the MOEX Index was up by 0.2% at 2,394.96 points, while the RTS was up by 0.54% at 1,244.48 points. As trading opened the MOEX Index edged up by 0.06% to 2,391.69 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index added 0.24% to 1,240.68 points.
