"Marker does not participate in the special operation," it said adding there have been no requests to engage the robot as close-range air defense against drones.

Marker was designed to counter drones and operators need full training and instructions. The platform is a joint project of the Prospective Research Fund and Android Technology. Marker was tested in February against small drones.
