Russian stocks down as main session begins on Friday

MOSCOW, September 16. /TASS/. The Russian stock market went down at the beginning of the main session on Friday, according to trading data.

As of 10:15 am Moscow time the MOEX was down by 0.22% at 2,441.19 points, while the RTS was down by 0.61% at 1,280.11 points. As trading opened the MOEX Index slipped by 0.02% to 2,446.09 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index lost 0.11% to 1,286.66 points.

The dollar exchange rate against the ruble added 0.28% to 59.97 rubles as the main session opened, while the euro exchange rose by 0.32% to 59.97 rubles. As of 10:15 am the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.46% at 60.07 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was up by 0.43% at 60.04 rubles.
