MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Russia's stock market went up at the beginning of the main session on Moscow Exchange on Thursday, according to trading data.
As of 10:23 am Moscow time the MOEX Index was up by 2.7% at 2,188.21 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index was up by 3.29% at 1,143.22 points. As trading opened the MOEX added 0.36% to 2,138.39 points, while the RTS lost 0.21% to 1,104.5 points.
The dollar exchange rate was down by 0.68% at 60.28 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was down by 1.44% at 59.28 rubles. As of 10:00 am Moscow the dollar exchange rate against the ruble rose by 0.44% to 60.96 rubles, while the euro exchange slipped by 0.3% to 59.97 rubles.
