KALININGRAD, October 4. /TASS-DEFENSE/. Mobilized reservists from Kaliningrad region trained live fire from 152 mm Giatsint guns at a Baltic fleet range, the fleet said.

Giatsint towed gun destroys troops, weapons and hardware on the march, in accumulation places and strongholds. It can operate in various weather and climate.

"Giatsint guns fired pointblank at full-size targets imitating hostile troops and hardware. The reservists fired at suddenly appearing targets when the adversary tried to launch a counterattack and break through the defense," it said.

Experienced officers with combat experience of the artillery formation of the Baltic fleet supervised the training. They paid specific attention to reconnaissance techniques and fire adjustment.
