MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Russian exchange indexes ended the trading day on Tuesday with the upward trend. The ruble-denominated MOEX Russia Index grew by 0.22% to 2,046.42 points at the close of today's trade on the Moscow Exchange. The dollar-denominated RTS index added 0.76% and climbed to 1,100.14 points.
The dollar gained 0.09% against the ruble to 58.95 rubles. The euro edged upward by 2.8% and amounted to 56.4 rubles.
Brent oil futures moved up on the London's ICE to $93.16 per barrel (up 3.08%).
The OPEC+ meeting will be an important event on Wednesday. "The projected production cut by the alliance can be a positive event for Russian oil companies," Alexander Bakhtin from BCS Investment World said.
The MOEX Russia Index is likely to be within 1,950-2,070 points tomorrow, BCS Investment World forecasts.
