ASTANA, October 13. /TASS/. Countries receiving the Ukrainian grain under the Instanbul deal should be grateful to the Turkish leader, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday at the meeting with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Owing to your efforts, Mr. President, we are implementing the deal related to the export of the Ukrainian grain to international markets. I think that countries receiving this product should be grateful to you for that," Putin said.

Agreements reached earlier are being implemented, the Russian leader noted, referring to other avenues of bilateral cooperation.
