- The Czech Council of the EU Presidency has submitted a new proposal on the EU’s long-delayed migration and asylum policy reform amid renews migration pressures in Europe.
- Amid the current influx of migrants to the bloc, the proposal revises the European Commission’s idea of flexible solidarity and includes also the new term “flexible responsibility”.
- The Czech interior minister would consider it a great success if the EU27 interior ministers support it during their December meeting.
