MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Transit of Russian oil via the territory of Belarus proceeds as scheduled, official spokesman of the Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft Igor Dyomin told TASS on Friday.

"Oil transit through Belarus is in an orderly fashion," he said.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko earlier threatened to take oil from the transit pipeline if Russia does not supply oil to the republic in required scope.

Contracts on deliveries of Russian oil to Belarus ended on December 31, 2019. The parties are holding talks but have not yet reached an agreement on conditions of oil supplies to the republic. Russia's Rusneft and Neftisa companies resumed oil supplies to Belarus from January 4. A batch of Norwegian oil was delivered to Naftan refinery in Belarus on January 26.
