  • Only two applicants managed to pass the aptitude test organized by the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) last week to fill vacant posts for field operators, reports a local daily.
  • A pool of some 200 applicants, who were all diploma holders specialized in chemical industries and refinery operations sent in their applications after a job announcement was posted before the Coronavirus pandemic worsened.
  • The Zour refinery project, considered an important strategic oil sector project implemented by Kuwait, also includes the Zour refinery that produces 615 thousand oil barrels a day, natural gas import facilities, and a petrochemical complex.
