Croatian economy minister promises to act on excise or VAT on fuel prices if necessary

  • Fuel prices in Croatia hit the highest level in history on Monday (11 October) night as a result of the ongoing fuel and energy crisis throughout Europe.
  • A litre of Eurosuper 95 is up 26 lipas (one kuna has 100 lipas) and is now 11,30 kuna (€1,50).
  • In the price structure of diesel (11,40 kuna), about 5.30 kuna go to the trader (oil, logistics and refinery and trade margin), and 6.10 kuna goes to the state for excise duties and VAT.
