  • England’s Bristol Zoological Society has taken a renewables-powered leap into a low-carbon future.
  • Under a new agreement, energy provider Bristol Energy will provide gas and 100% renewable electricity to the animal exhibits at Bristol Zoo Gardens, including to the reptile, insect, monkey and gorilla enclosures.
  • Bristol Energy already supplies other city landmarks including City Hall with energy and aims to help the city reach its 2030 carbon neutrality target.
