  • The theory put forward by a German laboratory that the pollution of the Oder River, which killed thousands of fish, was caused by pesticides in the water, was dismissed as fake news by Poland.
  • The lab of Berlin/Brandenburg Metropolitan Region has recently announced it found high concentrations of pesticides in the samples of the water from the Oder, reported German daily Der Tagesspiegel.
  • The Polish Institute for Inland Fisheries confirmed the results of the German investigation; Anna Moskwa announced the following day.
