  • The government is to set the maximum price for small businesses and critical infrastructure in sectors like hospitals, Climate and Environment Minister Anna Moskwa said at the government’s meeting on Tuesday.
  • The Sejm, parliament’s lower chamber, has recently adopted a law introducing energy consumption limits for single households at 2 MWh per year, 2.6 MWh for households with persons with disabilities, and 3 MWh for families with three or more children.
  • Before the government’s meeting, Morawiecki discussed the measures to tackle high energy prices with representatives of local governments, emphasising that Poland cannot afford political spats over energy concerns.
