- Executives who sell or use business jets expressed concern that a French proposal to tax corporate aircraft over greenhouse gas emissions is making their industry a “scapegoat,” following protests by climate activists in Europe.
- Kurt Edwards, director general of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), said this month the industry is “a visible target and it’s easy to criticize … for what other people perceive as the inappropriate use of these aircraft”.
