Travel restrictions live: Spain to reopen to tourists in July

  • Spain will reopen to international tourism from July, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Saturday.
  • The Government must work to secure ‘air bridge’ agreements with holiday destinations in Europe and beyond, the British travel association has hinted in the wake of the announcement of a blanket quarantine policy on all international arrivals.
  • The British Ports Association has reiterated its call for ‘sea bridges’ to be introduced to allow British holidaymakers to take summer holidays in countries including France and Spain.
