BUENOS AIRES, June 5. /TASS/. More than 50 Russian nationals took an Azur Air flight to return to Russia from Chile, Denis Vinokurov, a spokesman for the Russian embassy in Santiago told TASS on Friday.
"The plane has taken off. There are 63 passengers onboard, including 58 Russian nationals," he said.
The Azur Air plane departed from Moscow on June 4 with citizens of Latina American nations who were stuck in Russia amid the coronavirus lockdowns. The plane landed in Brazil's Sao Paolo earlier on Friday to take 40 Russians and in 220 more passengers boarded in Buenos Aires. Now, the plane is heading for Cuba and further on to Moscow.
