TBILISI, July 14. /TASS/. Doctors in Georgia confirmed four COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the total number of infected people has reached 999, the government said on Tuesday on its website on the coronavirus situation in the country.
On July 13, Georgia reported nine COVID-19 cases and on July 12 - five. Thirteen patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 870 (87.09% of all infected people).
As many as 219 people are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 15 coronavirus patients have died.
According to the latest data, Georgia has conducted 148,188 coronavirus tests by now, with 3.99% of residents tested.
A state of emergency was in effect in the country over coronavirus from March 21 to May 22. On April 27, the authorities began to gradually lift restrictions.
