DAMASCUS, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian Health Ministry on Thursday pledged to facilitate help for the return of Syrian nationals from Lebanon in the wake of the massive explosion that rocked the capital Beirut.
In a statement, the ministry pledged to offer facilitations to receive the Syrians affected by the Beirut explosions. It added that receiving the Syrians and their families will be under preventive measures due to the COVID-19.
Among the measures is conducting the PCR tests.
Earlier in the day, the pro-government al-Watan electronic newspaper cited a Lebanese report as saying that 27 Syrians have been killed in the Beirut port explosion.
