MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Moscow has enough hospitals beds for coronavirus patients, Moscow's Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on Friday.
"The epidemic is slowing down. To date, we have enough specialized beds for COVID-19 patients, with a 50 percent reserve. It also gives the sense of confidence," he said in an interview with the Vesti news roundup on the Rossiya-1 television channel.
According to the mayor, the capital city has managed to avoid an explosive growth of coronavirus morbidity rate.
The mayor's press service said on October 19 Moscow had organized 15,000 hospital beds for coronavirus patients.
