Russia reports more COVID-19 recoveries than new cases for first time since September

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Russia's coronavirus recoveries grew by 25,179 in the past 24 hours, a total of 1,501,083 patients have recovered by now, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Wednesday.

Recoveries exceeded the number of new daily cases for the first time since September 16.

The number of Russians who have recovered from the disease grew from 74.9% to 75.3% of all infected individuals.

Another 1,168 patients were discharged in St. Petersburg, 885 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 714 in the Trans-Baikal Region, 664 in the Stavropol Region, 589 in the Voronezh Region, 545 in the Saratov Region and 544 in the Volgograd Region.
