MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. About 8.2 mln doses of coronavirus vaccines have been produced in Russia for the time being and 2.7 mln doses were allocated for medical institutions, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova says on Thursday.

"8.2 mln doses have been produced on a cumulative total to date. Almost 2.7 mln doses were allocated for vaccination of citizens to medical institutions," the official said.

The difference between production volumes and doses available for vaccination is explained by quality and safety control of vaccines, Golikova noted.
