KEMEROVO, October 8. /TASS/. New daily coronavirus cases are on a decline in most Russian regions but the situation remains tense, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told reporters on Saturday.

"We saw new daily cases decline in most regions in the past week but still, the situation remains tense," he said.

The minister reiterated the need for people to comply with sanitary measures and get booster vaccine shots.

According to the Health Ministry, over 350,000 coronavirus patients remain under medical observation in Russia.
