Japan wasn’t an ideal start to the last event of the season. We were off the pace in qualifying, and then were involved in some incidents in the race, meaning we both finished out of the points. In the Mexican round we managed to improve our performance, and I was able to get the car into a good starting position, fighting on to P2 in the race. That wasn’t just a great race for me personally, but it also helped us take a step forward in the Constructors’ Championship. Overall, I think this was our best event of the season. We are starting to get a better understanding of the car and the game, and we hope to be able to take this with us into next season.

Bono Huis

Suzuka was a difficult race for us as a team. We weren’t quick enough in qualifying, and both Brendon and I ended up starting the race outside the top ten. We tried to make the best of the race, but it wasn’t enough to finish in the points. That took us back in the championship standings, which was a big disappointment. Fortunately, we could turn that around in Mexico. I started from the back of a grid, but still managed to score a point, and Brendon finished the race on the podium. We kept our form in the last race of the event and held on to the fourth position in the championship, which was a big boost for the team. Hopefully we can keep the momentum and apply what we learned this year to next season.

James Vowles

We started 2020 on the backfoot against our competitors. But I’m very proud of the developments, both from our drivers and the team, across the season, in order to finish the season very strong, fighting at the front, fighting for podiums. Congratulations to Red Bull Racing and Jarno on winning their respective championship titles. This year has been an incredible year for esports, and the competition has never been closer. At times, in Brazil, just a tenth separated eight drivers, and milliseconds could make the difference between being on the podium or not, and that’s how racing should be. We are looking forward to some hard work over the winter, making sure we start 2021 the way we should have started the 2020 season, and look forward to fighting at the front again.
