Around 4,000 people from all over the region and many other countries participated in the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW 2019) that closed today with calls for more ambition and stronger collaboration among all levels of government, the private sector and civil society to implement the national climate plans (known as Nationally Determined Contribution, or “NDCs”) and to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.
