- The number of patients being treated in hospitals for COVID-19 on Tuesday was 873, more than double the number of patients being treated on 16 September.
- On Tuesday, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) also reported a total of 19,031 recorded cases of people who tested positive for COVID-19.
- RIVM also reported a total of 561 new hospital admissions this week.
