- The number of positive COVID-19 cases has decreased for the first time in seven weeks.
- There have been 22,688 COVID-19 cases recorded in the Netherlands this week, which is a 4% drop compared to the week before, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) reported.
- On 4 October, the RIVM reported 19,031 recorded cases of people who tested positive for COVID-19.
