5.3-magnitude quake hits 117 km southeast of Kuh Sefid, Iran — USGS

BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 117 km southeast of Kuh Sefid, Iran at 06:40:42 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 28.254 degrees north latitude and 57.1174 degrees east longitude.
