Henning Gebhardt leaves Berenberg

  • Henning Gebhardt, until now head of Central Business Unit Wealth and Asset Management at Berenberg and member of the extended management board, has decided to leave Germany’s oldest privately owned Bank.
  • Matthias Born, chief investment officer Equities, will as head of Investments take over the management of Berenberg’s Investment Platform, consisting of Equities, Multi Asset and Quant and offering investment opportunities for private and institutional clients.
  • In June 2019 Berenberg had announced that David Mortlock (head of Central Business Unit Investment and Corporate Banking) and Christian Kühn (head of Central Business Unit Bank Management) would soon be appointed as members of the management board, next to the personally liable partners, Hans-Walter Peters and Hendrik Riehmer.
