MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Sberbank expects that the Bank of Russia will keep the key rate at the level of 4.25% at the forthcoming regulator's Board meeting on Friday, bank's strategist Nikolai Minko told reporters on Monday.

"We expect the Central Bank will maintain the rate unchanged at the meeting on October 23, being concerned of high volatility after elections in the United States. No significant changes in the rate and the value of ruble-denominated assets will probably occur in such case; the consensus also tends to absence of changes in the key rate.

The Bank of Russia decided at its previous meeting on September 18 to keep the key rate after the proactive cycle of its reduction.
