MOSCOW, August 18. /TASS/. The corporate loan portfolio of Russian banks gained 1.2% in July, the Central Bank said on Thursday.
"The corporate portfolio increased by 600 bln rubles ($10 bln) (+1.2%) in July on account of a number of major transactions and owing to disbursements of about 160 bln rubles ($2.7 bln) within the framework of state programs to support systemic companies," the regulator said.
The corporate loan portfolio of banks moved up by 1.6 trillion rubles ($26.6 bln) in January - July of this year, up 3.1%, the Bank of Russia added.
