- The Swedish Riksbank decided on Tuesday to raise the interest rate to 1.75% in, the most important increase in about three decades and is expected to announce more additions this autumn, the bank said on Tuesday.
- As announced by the Central Bank, another hike is expected soon, and Swedish economists expect the key interest rate to reach 3.5% by next summer.
- The Riksbank will hold its next meeting in November and is expected to raise the policy rate further.
