- Investor Saif Alketbi from the United Arab Emirates has bought a 43.4% stake in the leading Croatian food and retail group Fortenova.
- The 43% stake was held by Russian bank Sberbank, following Agrokor’s restructuring and rebranding.
- In September, Croatian media reported that the government was set to block the purchase of Sberbank’s stake by Hungary’s investment fund Indotek.
