Dollar exchange rate up 0.4% as trading opens on Moscow Exchange, euro adds 0.7%

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Russia's currency lost 0.4% against the dollar to 77.8 rubles as trading opened on Moscow Exchange and 0.7% against the euro to 85.97 rubles, according to the trading data as of 10:00 am Moscow time.

As of 10:12 am, the dollar exchange rate was trading at 77.71 rubles (+0.3%), while the euro was up by half a percent to 85.82 rubles.

Meanwhile, the price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for May 2020 delivery dropped by 0.6% on London's ICE to $26.19 per barrel, whereas the price of Brent futures contracts for June delivery slipped by 0.2% to $28.6 per barrel. The price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil was $22.77 per barrel (+0.8%).
