PARIS, April 7 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 2.12 percent, or 92.14 points, to close at 4,438.27 points.
European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE advanced 16.83 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. International steel producer ArcelorMittal SA rose 10.39 percent and French multinational hospitality company Accor gained 9.77 percent.
French multinational retailer Carrefour went down by 3.43 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French industrial group Legrand lost 1.37 percent and French multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi edged down 0.98 percent.
