As of 10:11 Moscow time, the dollar continued to decline and was at around 70.49 rubles. (-1.1%), while the euro slowed down and was trading at 70.44 rubles. (-0.7%).
The Russian ruble is strengthening against the US dollar and the euro amid rising oil prices. The cost of futures for Brent crude oil for delivery in September 2020 on the ICE exchange in London is growing by 0.9% - up to $42.42 per barrel. WTI crude oil is trading at $ 40.25 per barrel, 0.8% higher than the previous close.
