MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. The RTS Russia Index rose above 1,500 points during Wednesday trading on Moscow Exchange for the first time since February 25, 2020 as it went up by 1.2% to 1,502.74, according to the trading data as of 10:01 am Moscow time.
The MOEX Index added 0.47% to 3,487.92 points as trading opened.
As of 10:16 am, the RTS was up by 0.94% at 1,498.92 points, while the MOEX was up by 0.61% at 3,492.79 points.
The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for March 2021 delivery is up by 0.94% at $57.11 per barrel on London's ICE, while the price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil is up by 0.77% at $53.65 per barrel.
