Rusal shares up 6.7% on Moscow Exchange amid a lack of news

MOSCOW, February 17. /TASS/. Shares of Russia's aluminium producer Rusal gained 6.7% as trading opened on Moscow Exchange on Wednesday to 39.99 rubles per share, according to the trading data as of 10:00 am Moscow time.

As of 10:29 am the company's shares narrowed gains to 4.09% trading at 39.03 rubles per share.

The price of Rusal shares is rising amid a lack of corporate news.

Rusal is the largest aluminum producer outside China and the only producer of primary aluminium in Russia. The company's production reached 3.755 mln tonnes in 2020, while sales decreased by 6% to 3.926 mln tonnes.
