China’s foreign exchange reserves down 1.09% in March to $3.17 trillion

BEIJING, April 7. /TASS/. Foreign exchange reserves of the People's Bank of China fell by 1.09% in March to $3.17 trillion, Deputy Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) Wang Chunying announced on Wednesday.

At the end of March, foreign exchange reserves amounted to $3.17 trillion, decreasing by $35 bln compared to the end of February, or 1.09%, she said.

At the end of 2020, foreign exchange reserves of the People's Bank of China increased by 3.49% in annual terms and reached $3.21 trillion.
