MOSCOW, May 12. /TASS/. The euro exchange rate slipped below 69 rubles during foreign currency trading on Moscow Exchange on Thursday for the first time since February 2020, according to trading data.
As of 10:55 am Moscow time, the euro exchange rate was down by 2.14% at 68.99 rubles.
As of 11:10 am the euro exchange rate extended losses to 2.55% trading at 68.7 rubles, while the dollar exchange rate was down by 2.23% at 65.7 rubles.
Meanwhile the MOEX Index was down by 1.39% at 2,353.9 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS was up by 0.36% at 1,128.03 points.
