MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. The Russian stock market was mixed at the beginning of the main session on Friday as the MOEX Index was down by 0.33% at 2,290.21 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index was up by 0.73% at 1,148.34 points, according to trading data as of 11:00 am Moscow time.
As trading opened at 10:00 am the MOEX was up by 0.53% at 2,309.98 points, while the RTS was up by 0.84% at 1,114.59 points. Meanwhile, as of 10:25 am both indices were in the negative territory as the MOEX was down by 0.64% at 2,283.1 points, while the RTS was down by 0.47% at 1,134.74 points.
The dollar exchange rate was down by 0.6% at 62.92 rubles as of 11:00 am, while the euro exchange rate was up by 0.14% at 65.35 rubles. As Friday trading opened on Moscow Exchange the dollar exchange rate decreased below 63 rubles for the first time since February 2020, while the euro exchange rate was down below 65 rubles for the first time since June 2017.
