MOSCOW, August 22. /TASS/. The Russian stock market was mixed at the beginning of the main session on Monday.

The MOEX Index was up by 0.34% at 2,202.52 points, while the RTS was down by 0.29% at 1,167.20 points, according to trading data as of 10:14 am Moscow time.

As trading opened the MOEX Index slipped by 0.09% to 2,193.29 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index fell by 0.13% to 1,169.09 points.

Meanwhile the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.58% compared with the previous closing at 59.44 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was down by 0.21% at 59.47 rubles as of 10:14 am. As trading opened on Moscow Exchange at 10:00 am the dollar exchange rate rose by 0.22% to 59.23 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was almost unchanged at 59.6 rubles.
