MOSCOW, August 29. /TASS/. The ruble weakened against the dollar and strengthened against the euro compared with previous closing during foreign currency trading on Moscow Exchange on Monday.

As of 10:16 am Moscow time the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.09% at 60.55 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was down by 0.87% at 60.12 rubles.

As trading opened the dollar exchange rate slipped by 0.08% to 60.45 rubles, while the euro exchange rate lost 0.82% to 60.15 rubles.

As of 10:16 am the MOEX Index was up by 0.05% at 2,270.11 points, while the RTS was down by 0.21% at 1,180.62 points. As trading opened the MOEX Index slipped by 0.06% to 2,267.43 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index lost 0.21% to 1,180.65 points.
