MOSCOW, September 7. /TASS/. The Russian stock market continued the downward trend on Wednesday. The MOEX Russia Index lost 0.98% to 2,401.57 points. The RTS Index dropped by 0.7% to 1,243.7 points.

The dollar edged down by 0.37% to 60.85 rubles. The euro added 0.01% and totaled 60.43 rubles.
