MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. The Russian stock market at the beginning of the main session on Wednesday showed a significant decline of the leading indices.

The MOEX index fell by 2.98% to 2,149.64 points, the RTS index decreased to 1,106.03 points (-4.17%).

The dollar reached 61.46 rubles (+1.42%) and the euro rose by 0.48%, to 60.89 rubles.
