MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. The euro exchange rate rose above 58 rubles during foreign currency trading on Moscow Exchange on Wednesday for the first time since September 26, according to trading data.
As of 12:30 pm Moscow time the euro exchange rate was up by 2.9% at 58.03 rubles. By 1:00 pm the euro was up by 3.01% at 58.09 rubles, while the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.91% at 59.48 rubles.
Meanwhile the MOEX Index was down by 2.89% at 1,987.24 points, while the RTS Index was down by 4.31% at 1,052.68 points.
